  • War takes away the best

Unfortunately, war claims the best. In January, we fundraised for a car for Ihor Brovko, a music teacher, a talented musician from Kyiv region. Today, Ihor passed away as a brave Hero, defender of Ukraine. It's hard to believe, it's incomprehensible. The last song Ihor recorded was «The sad world» by Skryabin. An indescribable loss. Ihor became a Hero forever, leaving behind a grieving wife, a young son, relatives, and the entire teaching community of Ukraine. Eternal memory to the Hero.

  • An inspiring award

Our colleague, a teacher who is currently working in the Bakhmut area, has sent us a very valuable gift 💛💙. The package was marked "souvenirs," but these are not souvenirs. They are strength, truth, and inspiration. Thank you so much. The "Teacher Goes to the Armed Forces of Ukraine" community invites you to participate in the project "STEM Month in the Community!" EVERYONE can join! We offer several ways to participate: Drone assembly! (You provide the certificate and scope of work, and the community will provide the funding). Individual support for the drone assembly with a donation or parts. Group work (turnkey drone) as a new project (the community will provide training, parts, and financial assistance). Join us. Choose your way. Together, we will win.

  • The Warmth of Grandma Hanna

90-Year-Old Grandma Hanusia from Chernihiv Region helps the military with her own hands These incredible rugs were made by Grandma Hanusia and her team of granddaughters for people from the Chernihiv region who survived the horrific russian occupation. These rugs are more than just a gift. They are a symbol of faith and the resilience of the Ukrainian spirit. They are a piece of warmth and comfort that was so lacking for people who lost their homes and went through terrible ordeals. 90-Year-Old Grandma Hanusia knows the value of freedom. She remembers war and occupation, and therefore wholeheartedly strives to help those who are now defending our land. Her rugs are more than just handicrafts. They are a real weapon, because they give people hope, warm the soul and inspire them to fight. Her story is a story of the resilience of the Ukrainian spirit, the power of faith, and the fact that good always triumphs over evil. Now she has already passed away, but she managed to make the world a warmer and more loving place.

  • Everything must be of higher quality

May 4, 2022 is the day the community was created! 💛 Teacher Goes to the Armed Forces of Ukraine💙 “We thought about this fund before, but now it's time to act.  Many educators are already on the front lines, and some are getting ready to go.  And we all know about the equipment problem. Basic equipment: body armor + helmet + unloading vest Up to this point, we have been able to find options that have already been paid for by someone else but now it is time to raise funds. I have created a special card to provide full reports on the donations. So, dear friends, here’s what we have: A head teacher's assistant, a math teacher, a physical education teacher. All from the Chernihiv region. And now we are going to look for the best options and buy 3 body armor and 3 helmets.  Everything must be of the highest quality." This collection is where the community story began.
